The Training Owl have over 20 years experience in development.

The Training Owl has been providing expert training design for over 20 years. We are passionate instructional designers and have a deep understanding of how to create effective training programs. We specialize in 5 key types of training development: eLearning, blended learning, mobile learning, instructor-led training and virtual instructor-led training.

When designing our training programs, we use a variety of methodologies to ensure the learning experience is engaging and effective. We utilize the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) to create the structure of the program. We also use a variety of instructional strategies including Learner-Centered Design, Problem-Based Learning, and Action Mapping. To ensure the training is engaging, we use game-based learning, simulations, and storytelling. We also use data-driven practices to measure the impact of the training on learners’ performance.

- Blended Learning: A type of training that combines elements of both classroom and virtual training. It can include lectures, case studies, webinars, video conferencing, and interactive activities.
- Mobile Learning: A type of training that is conducted using mobile devices and is designed to be accessible anytime, anywhere. It can include e-learning, apps, and interactive activities.

Training Development Methodologies:

Experiential Learning:

A learning model that is focused on learning through experience. It is based on the idea that learning is most effective when it is based on real-life experiences.

Problem-based Learning:

A learning model that is centered around solving problems. It is based on the idea that learning is most effective when the learner is actively engaged in the process of solving a problem.

Behavior Modeling:

A learning model that is based on the idea that learners can learn by observing and imitating the behavior of others.

Brain-based Learning:

A learning model that is based on the idea that learning is most effective when it takes into account the biological, psychological, and social aspects of learning.
